Training Plan

DAY 1

Training Description

Sinya Reformer Flow is the second level of education for working with the reformer in the Sinya Pilates system. This training is a seamless transition from teaching exercises to creating full lessons, where rhythm, space, and control are as important as technique.

Participants learn to build flow sequences where exercises are not separate entities but flow from one another. This is the moment when the instructor becomes a movement composer: managing transitions, pauses, direction, and breath. Tempo serves as a tool for transformation.

In the spirit of Sinya Pilates, each exercise is analyzed for stabilization, pelvic and spinal alignment, limb pattern control, and resistance adaptation. Here, we also focus on spatial quality – how the body enters movement, how it continues, how it stops, and how it releases.

What You Will Learn

To create coherent and fluid lessons in a flow format with a sense of transitions, tempo, and structure.
To work with rhythm and timing, from calm, spiral sequences to dynamic movement chains. To build intermediate-level group lessons while maintaining corrections and progressions. To learn to guide through space and axis – using verbal and visual cueing. To create thematic lesson sections: “elongation,” “core & spiral,” “fluidity & flow,” “rotation & balance.” To distinguish the intention of an exercise from its form – and teach this to others.

Who Is This For?

This training is intended for instructors who have completed Sinya Reformer Root and wish to advance to the next level of pedagogy – from learning movement to creating lessons, from exercise to choreography, from control to guiding through quality. It is particularly recommended for group Pilates teachers, studio instructors, and trainers seeking modern, dynamic tools for reformer work.

Rules

  1. After the first training, participants receive a practice card to document their completed practical sessions.
  2. You can also arrange sessions with our instructors at their studios – you will then receive feedback, gaining individual guidance for your work.
  3. 60 hours of practice (total number of hours for 3 levels of reformer training, with 20 hours of practice per module) allows for taking the online practical exam. The student records a full lesson, preceding the recording with a lesson plan.
