Course Description

Here, we focus on creating dynamic flow sequences that allow you to lead classes with fluidity, spaciousness, and conscious movement – transitioning naturally between apparatuses, positions, and movement patterns.

The training develops the ability to design creative, rhythmic, and functional sessions that harmoniously combine strength, stabilization, elongation, and mobility. This module teaches the spine to breathe, muscles regain supportive intelligence, and spiral and axial movement leads the body to greater freedom. Working with the Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector allows for deepened postural re-education, releasing compensations, opening the chest space, and re-educating movement patterns.

What You Will Learn

Learning to work on the Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector in functional and corrective lessons
Developing spinal awareness in rotation, extension, lateral flexion, and segmental movement
Recognizing myofascial tensions and the ability to release them through movement
Ability to lead elongation and sequential classes (short and long chains)
Integrating these apparatuses with breath work, core, and body perception. Learning rotational and spiral cueing
Ability to observe and correct tensions in the shoulder girdle and spine. Working with directional breathing (thoracic breath, side rib)Creating strengthening and mobilizing sessions for various client groups: active, older, overloaded, with limited mobility. Building sessions based on spirality, rhythm, and fluidity of movement. Teaching methodology where you will learn the integration of directional breathing with core control. Designing sequences with progression and regression – from therapeutic work to sports lessons. Working with body observation: recognizing compensations, tensions, and asymmetries.Working with spiral rotation and elongation in every transition. The workshops also utilize small equipment: Pilates ring, small ball

Development Opportunities

Upon completion of Level 3 of the Sinya Pilates system (covering mat with props, reformer, chair, barrel, and spine corrector), three main paths for continued development open up for the instructor – each leading towards advanced practice, specialization, or didactic mastery:

LEVEL IV Sinya Cadillac Specialization

LEVEL V Therapeutic Specializations (Sinya Therapeutic Path)

LEVEL VI Sinya Apparatus Blend & Instructor Mastery

Certification upon workshop completion:

Certified Sinya Chair & Spine & Ladder Barrel Flow Series

Level 3

Chair+Ladder Barrel&Spine Corrector +Flow Series

(The student records a full lesson, preceded by a lesson plan plus practice.)
