This comprehensive, two-day workshop is designed to guide instructors through the fundamentals of the Tower repertoire up to more advanced techniques and applications suitable for a wide range of clients. The workshop is led by world-renowned international Pilates educators Michael King and Malcolm Muirhead.
The program focuses on:
- safe progression,
- injury prevention,
- and integrating more challenging and progressive movement patterns into Reformer Tower training.

- Techniques for designing and planning effective Reformer Tower sessions tailored to both general and individual client needs.
- Strategies for introducing more progressive and dynamic movement patterns while maintaining safety and appropriate progression levels.
- Review and practice of standard and multi-level exercises with an emphasis on session planning and preventing overload and injuries.
Event Philosophy
The workshop is based on the Michael King Pilates philosophy, which posits that effective teaching is not solely about knowing the repertoire, but primarily about understanding:
- the purpose of movement,
- body organization,
- quality of execution,
- and the ability to guide the client through safe and conscious progression.
