Instructors:
Pilates Pairings: Lineage & Legacy is a unique educational experience designed to explore and compare two incredibly important second-generation Pilates lineages through movement, teaching philosophy, and a practical approach to the method.
The workshops are designed to help teachers and advanced practitioners better understand:
During the event, two unique worlds of movement will converge.
On one side, the classical Romana Kryzanowska lineage – based on structure, precision, the rhythm of the classical sequence, and a traditional approach to Contrology.
On the other side, the Ron Fletcher lineage – more organic and expressive, developing movement through breath, fluidity, work in space, and the influence of modern dance and Martha Graham’s technique.
This meeting of two perspectives creates an inspiring space between classical structure and movement expression – demonstrating how diversely the Pilates method can evolve while remaining true to its foundations.

The studio is the first to learn about new modules and development directions.
Access to master teachers from the USA, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
Participation in international events and conventions.
Access to a network of professionals sharing the same values.

10 EXERCISES · 2 TEACHING PERSPECTIVES
A practical comparison of two teaching lineages
The second day will be dedicated to a practical comparison of the teaching approaches of both lineages.
Participants will analyze the same exercises on the Universal Reformer through two different pedagogical perspectives.
Based on approximately 10 selected exercises, instructors will demonstrate:
This format allows participants to experience how the same exercise can be interpreted in different ways, while remaining rooted in Joseph Pilates' original method.
The workshops are held in an intimate format, allowing for a more immersive educational experience.
Participants will be divided into two groups:
Each group works with one teacher in the morning and then moves to the second teaching lineage in the afternoon.
This arrangement allows participants to fully explore both pedagogical approaches and experience the differences in leading Reformer work.
A maximum of 2 participants will be assigned per Reformer.
Participants will work on both classical and contemporary reformers, experiencing the differences between the two constructions and their impact on movement quality and teaching style.
The day will be divided into a morning session, a community gathering, and an afternoon session.
Morning Session
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Lunch & Community Gathering

Afternoon Session

International education • mentoring • networking • professional development
By joining Sinya events, you become part of an international network of Pilates trainers, instructors, and educators.
You have the opportunity to meet people from different countries, exchange experiences, inspirations, and build relationships that often develop into long-term professional collaborations.
During the workshops, you work directly with experienced teachers and mentors.
This allows you to see the Pilates method from a deeper perspective, understand the logic of movement, how to structure lessons, and the philosophy of working with the body that underlies each exercise.
You will leave Sinya events with concrete tools for your daily work.
You will learn new exercise sequences, ways of guiding movement, cueing techniques, and different approaches to programming both individual and group classes.
As part of Sinya Global Events, you can also present your own lessons, training ideas, and methods of working with clients.
This is an opportunity to develop your career in an international environment and share your knowledge with other instructors.
Sinya workshops and conventions are not just about mat or apparatus classes.
They are also a space for discussions, creating new projects, and educational collaboration.
Meetings with other trainers and mentors often become the beginning of new initiatives, inspirations, and further steps on your professional path.

See you again November 21–22 for an intensive Pilates Reformer Tower workshop. Two days full of precise work, in-depth knowledge, and movement led by international Pilates experts. View event details and join the training.
Development in the Pilates method does not end with a single training. It is a process that matures through dialogue, observation, and practice. Meetings with mentors and teachers from various backgrounds allow for a new perspective on movement, a deeper understanding of the method, and the discovery of one’s own teaching style. That is why Sinya Pilates events are created as a space where knowledge meets experience, and the community of instructors grows through shared learning and inspiration.
