Workshop Description

As part of the events organized by Sinya Pilates Institute, we invite you to an intensive day of workshops led by world-class Pilates method teachers: Michael King and Malcolm Muirhead. The workshops have been designed based on the educational approach of MK Pilates and the work standards we develop within the Sinya Pilates Global Education System. We connect the world of many Pilates method currents, while respecting the source. Therefore, we invite Joseph’s second and third generations to share their experience and knowledge.

This will be a practical lesson where participants will understand and learn how to select equipment and exercises for their clients in individual and group settings. An integral part of the workshop concept is the Pilates Fusion approach, which demonstrates how the repertoire of equipment-based classes can be transferred to the mat, retaining its original biomechanical and training meaning.

Workshop Description

Workshops led by 3 instructors
We work in 3 groups of 10 people (30 participants in total)
The workshops are held as three parallel thematic segments – Reformer, Pilates Chair, and Spine Corrector. Groups move between segments, ensuring each participant will use individual exercise equipment.
Each segment lasts 2.5 hours
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion for the workshops
The Pilates Apparatus Workshop with Michael King & Malcolm Muirhead is dedicated to intermediate participants. We recommend it to individuals who already have experience in practicing the Pilates method, especially on the mat and reformers.
